Home again....

Hey! So sorry....I have been all over the place. Now that it is spring break I have a moment to stop and write!

Lots have happened since my last post. Last night I got back in from Las Vegas! Tons of fun!! I was selected to go with my custom design class to attend the "Tile Stone Vegas" convention. Wow!~ There was lots to see and do. We were hosted at Harrahs Hotel. So all of you know that when it comes to me something is bound to happen. So after the 6 hour grey hound bus ride we finally arrive at the hotel. I wait in the check in line for over an hour and then go up to the counter to check in. They would not allow me to check in because I am under 21. So, whats a girl going to do, Find a room mate and fast! I was not going to sleep on the streets and I was not giving up my spot in line. So, I turned around and the absolutely first female person I saw became my official roomie. Thankfully it was a lady I knew from school. We previously had some classes together so we weren't complete strangers. So, I turn back to the concierge and we move forward. Well, it donned on me that our room better have two beds because I am not snuggling up to anyone let alone a school mate. So, I snap my head up and ask if there was anyway we could possibly have a room with two beds or even one bed and a fold out sofa. Then to my complete surprise the concierge smiles and says "I do believe we can work this out". She goes ahead and hands each of us a gold embossed room card and points towards the elevators. I open the small envelope that was behind the card and read to my amazement that our room was on the 33 floor. Every one else was headed to the 4th floor for there rooms. We hope in to the elevator hit # 33 and enjoy our min long ride up. We head down the hallway to room 3334. I go ahead and read the embossed sign on our door and it reads " Presidential Suite". I do believe you could have knocked us both over with a feather!! I open the door and we walk into a absolutely beautiful room. The entry way lead into a full living room with a mini bar and massive flat screen TV. A door flanked each side of the living room. If you turned right you went into my room. It had two California king beds, full bathroom and a small seating area. If you turned left you went into Ladonna's room. She had one California king bed a b-fast nook and a luxury bathroom. A spa tub, walk in shower and double sinks! We were speechless. So, needless to say we had bragging rights all day about our out of this world room.

March Maddnes!

Oh my gosh guys I have the best new to share!!!!
Yesterday I found out that I along with five other custom designers were picked to come to Vegas for a all expense paid tour and design conference! Can you believe that! I leave the first Monday of spring break!! I am sooo excited! I have always said I wanted an adventure!

So many things that need to be done before I go, here is my list:

1. Complete all homework assignments. (6 page Eng paper, 5 min communication speech and my next custom design group project.)

2. Get time off at work.

3. Go shopping for some new clothes! (need to look in style and professional!)
