5 Days till Christmas!

Oh My only 5 more day till Christmas! I am so excited!

One of my family's favorite traditions for Christmas Eve is that we all gather over at my Grandmas house and help her prepare her home made lasagna. Oh it is so wonderful! The best you have ever dreamed of!! Then we play games, talk and some times do a puzzle. I know that I am looking forward to having the time off from work so that I can enjoy each moment with my loving family.

Yeah, yeah I know Arizona doesn't qualify for a White Christmas but in my heart there will be Snow!!!

I have been quite busy with school and work lately and I am looking forward to spending some time reconnecting with my family! Lots to share!

Tonight I am going to my dear friend Jackie's GRAD party! Tons of fun!! She went to ASU for nursing! WAY to GO JACKIE!!~!

To keep with the Christmas season I went and got some baby poinsettias! They are sooo cute and Tiny!!

Finals are done, Christmas gifts have been wrapped and I am all ready for the family to start gathering!!! Ahh..... great moments that make up the Christmas season!! ;)

I have been busy with many fun activity's this week. Babysitting, school and work mostly. However I was able to hang out with my friend Claire~ Yes, good memories were made, I assure you!

I am starving, ready for dinner, but I am stuck here at work, food less! Terrible, Terrible! Almost Tragic!

12 Days till Christmas!!

WOW!! Where has all the time gone.....only 12 days till Christmas!!
I am happy to say that I have all my Christmas shopping done and am looking forward to seeing the reaction they will bring!!! :0
I am slowly getting better...my allergies have been running wild due to our next door neighbors poor choice in landscaping, CHOP the TREE DOWN!!!!! It blows wee bits of YELLOW POLLEN all over my HOUSE!!! Just great I say, but I shall go on.

My Dads sister Jill is coming into town for the Holidays this year, it will be great to have her. I hope to go visit her in Nashville soon. (Will have to find some time first) What do you peeps have going on for your Holidays? Anything fun? Please share!

Another Angle has been added into heaven this week, My Auntie M has been taken to see the lord. After 6 years of Bone Marrow cancer she is no longer in pain. Please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers.

Merry Tis the Season

I absolutely LOVE the winter season. It is so wonderful. The cool weather, great food and the warmth of family and friends.

I have finally finished all of my Christmas shopping. It only took me two weeks!! A record for me. I had to order a few things online but mainly everything was easily found.

What is your holiday tradition? One of my favorite things about the Holidays is traditions. Let me see...one of my moms fav is that she always wears here slippers on Christmas. The whole day....even if we go out! I know kinda silly but it works for her. She has been doing it ever since she was a girl....some things never change.

For the month of December every time I post I will share a Gann holiday tradition.

I just love the thought of a warm house filled with family and food!! Ummm....UM.....UMMM!!! Sounds so good. I hope to be 100% by Thursday. I have been taken over by a bit of a nasty cold bug this last week and have really been trying to bring my immune system back up. Hard work!!

I am soo happy for black Friday. I will be going to JoAnn Fabrics to get a Cricut!!!! OMG!! I am about to pass out!! They are having a ridiculous sale only $69.00!!!!

On other topics, I was reviewing my older posts and was shocked to remember that I have forgotten to keep up with my New Experience challenge! So from this post on I shall keep all of you oh so pesky bloggers in the know! As well as to remember to do something new or different! Gosh So much WORK!! ;)

So am an eating a Donut! So beautifully Delicious! Its tender dough like center with Carmel topping beckons to me! So that was when I walked over to the snack shack and got me one! Good times.

I have been a little crazy lately with all of my plans for the holidays. I have started on my my list and headed over to Michel's to do some pre-shopping. I found this build your own calender kit and just had to have it so last night I started on it and 3 hours later it was finished! I think it turned out great! I made it just for my Aunt Jill who will be flying in for Christmas.

After I got out of work last night I meet up with my friend Jackie. Oh Jackie! She really is crazy. She is almost finished with school and is staying so busy with work and church. It was nice to have her hang out at Starbucks for a little bit. We ordered hot drinks, yes my shocked looking followers HOT drinks. It is starting to really be cold in the am/pm hours. Turns out Jackie remembered that she never did give my b-day gift so she brought it last night. (For you not so all knowing my B-day is in February) So she called it my 18.75 b-day. So I opened the damasked print wrapping paper to find a gorgeous necklace and bracelet set. Oh so beautiful! Natural pearls with chrystals, so breathtaking. In fact it was not to long after that we were checking to find our pulse!!! Oh yes right there in the main lobby of the coffee shop we two dorks are feeling for our heart beats! GOOD TIMES! Even better memories!

Now I am asking my self if I got Jackie a gift for her b-day. See look what happens when someone wants to be the greatest friend. The other friend ends up looking like a smirk when you didn't get a fantastic gift! Oh gosh! Oh well I will just have to go over the top and do something really special to make up for my brain fart!! Well Jackie if you are reading this be warned you better watch your back I am coming with the best gift ever!!!!!!

Just a quick note about what I have been up to.

Over the weekend my friend Bethany got married! What a wonderful night!!

A new week has begun and I have to get caught up on all my homework! Ehhh....sounds terrible. I just want to run away from all work! At least for a few days! Hehehe. Well went over to Claire's last night to help out with all of the kids she was babysitting, had a blast keeping them all alive and breathing. Crazy little monsters!! But happy to report that I have not lost one yet! (*knock on wood)

Well I have been away from my home work long enough must focus so off goes the laptop! *How sad.........

Wedding bells

Hey! I just got back from a amazing bridal shower!! So much fun!

The theme was a fall hay ride. Lanterns hanging down from the ceiling and string lights illuminated each happy face in attendance. Hay scattered across the floor and twang background music really brought the whole look together. Bethany, the beautiful bride to be was glowing! Her sisters and mom were all there along with all of her east coast friends and of course all of us!!! :)

She received many great gifts and was so blessed!! Maybe I need to have a bridal shower with out actually having to get married!! Sigh* , Only in my slightly strange world.

Falling in love with fall

Ahh.... such a wonderful time of the year!!! My favorite weather. Cool and crisp, that's the way to go!!

So as many of you know thanksgiving is only two weeks away. I am sooo ready to spend some fun time with my family! It will great! Plus all the WONDERFUL food that will be there. A match made in heaven! I am truly thankful for all my many blessings!

I am completely swamped with school work! What are these teachers thinking? Do they really believe that we as mere students deserve all the work that they dump on to us??? Do they really spend all the needed time grading our hard work? tisk * tisk* Only in a perfect world!

Yep, just belting out my own little tune right here right now. Nothing like being a bit weird!
Well I am happy to say that this week is almost over! Thank the lucky starts! I was almost going to have to run away to finally get some me time. Between school, work and church there is hardly enough time to pinch together! and that's saying something since I am well insulated!!!! Ahh, there is nothing like laughing at your own joke in a office building all alone! ~Good times, Good times. ;)

This weekend will still be busy but i am taking time on Saturday morning to go shopping with a friend, I need some winter clothes and shopping with friends is always fun!! Maybe to much!

I will now return back to my oh so thrilling life and go back to work but just wanted to have a little somethin' to say, and I did! Later bloggers!!

So lots to report on......

I am just getting over being sick and so that's great. I have been so busy with school and homework that I waited to go to the Doc. at the last min.

Halloween weekend was crazy. Friday night I went to a Vintage fashion show in Downtown Scottsdale. Turned out great!! Had tons of fun seeing some older fashions. The best part of the whole things was that I got to dress up. I looked great in my ultra dark jeans and platform shoes with my plush hounds tooth jacket and black felt hat. What a sight I was! Was one of the funniest things I have done in a long time. ;)
Saturday night I went to a play at my church called the Dollhouse. Turned out good. Saw my friends up there acting it up.
Sunday night I went out to dinner with my Mom, so good to spend some one on one time with her. We went to Logan's, had amazing steak and potatoes! Yum!!!

Now that my week has started life is kinda back to normal. Work, church and school, not to breathtaking.

I am having a tasty snack. Rold Gold Tiny Twists Pretzels!!! WOW! What a mouth full!!! hahahhahahahaha!! LOL. So anyway, I am just snacking and working and blogging!

I recently had to get a new windshield. The MASSIVE hail that we got last month done cracked the thing! and since my wonderful dad build my progressive policy online and DID NOT scroll all the way down he did not check the windshield coverage box!!!!! Oh yes! I had to pay out of pocket for a huge slab of glass that I then had to pay some body to install. But thanks to my noisy neighbor I was able to have a friend of theirs put it in for just under 200 bucks! AHHH, what a life. Hail in Arizona, Me with a slightly blind father and my poor car with a broken view on life. Yep, so sad.

Well, I just finished filling out all the paperwork for my study abroad trip to England! Nottingham, Britain here I come!!! Well not until July 2011. One whole month in a away in a new place! Oh what shall I do? I think the two classes i am going to take are Humanities through the arts:British culture and English history. There are stars in my eyes!

Last night Rachel and I went to the gym. Worked up a good sweat and then crashed for a while at her place. It was fun to have time to hang out for a bit!

Nothing like a cup of coffee

Morning, afternoon or late evening, there is nothing like a cup of steamy coffee! The last couple of day have been a bit dim for me but at last I break free from the cloud of doom, with a cup of whipped espresso smothered in chocolate in cliched in my hands!

Last night I was sitting in my family room thinking, yes I know its hard to believe but I do have some brain activity left. This is what I come up with. If I printed out my blog posts at the end of every month by the end of the year I could have a book! and If I say published said book I could sell it and there for make money and be rich! hehehhehehe.....well that is if anyone would buy my book that is all about me. But you never know, there might be someone out there with a strange sense of humor that would find all of this a tad entertaining.

Well ok, it was just a thought. You all know how my mind can get away from me at times! Ok.....more often than not!!! But I can live with that. Well at least for the last 18 years I have!

walking thru the valley

So, my dear fellow readers, I come to you with a heavy heart, a shadowed soul. This weekend has been a real eye opener. I have seen and heard many things that have..well broken my heart.
Things that I will probably never cross my lips, words that I will never allow to cross any others ears. Feelings that I would never wish upon any hopeful soul.

Ahh, I really just want to close my eyes and block out the whispers of doubt, to run from the laughing crowd, to stand up and reach towards the sky with desperation......................
I just need to come to that place of ....................... yeah, no words. ;/

So Corbin has a friend over and they have reached a new level of nasty. I am so ready to move out and have a place of my own!!!! All I have to do is get a higher paying job, find a great roommate and then I will be all set!!

What a day. I have been so busy today. I left home this morning at nine and walked back in the door just before 8:30. WOW!! In that time I went to school, job #1 then raced over to job #2. Made a quick stop to Target and drove through McDonald's for a tasty chicken sandwich.

I have to write a few e-mails and finish my homework so blog later!

I am so ready for Friday night to be here. I am extremely tired and just plain done with this week. so yeah...that about sums it up. i guess you want more...because who in there right mind logs on to the computer, types in my blog site just to read to mind numbing thoughts! Oh My Oh My

Hey there bloggers.

So on Thursday I helped Claire move......:)
I am happy to report that I am still in one piece! I arrived at about 7:30 to find lots of work to yet be done. So like any other wonderful friend I strapped in a bit of determination and joined in.
At about 9:30 Claire and I went in search of some Starbucks coffee! Lord knows we needed all four shots of espresso! I am still shaking! ........hehehehe....
Then we got back to work.
Once we finished emptying out the fridge Claire went to take the food to the new place. It was supposed to be a fast trip but when she got there she found out that with no key she could not get in. After ringing the door bell and pounding on windows to awaken her sleeping hubby she called me. Once we figured out that his and her phone was call bouncing she jumped the back patio wall. At last she was able to get in! Once she unloaded the food inside she ran over to wall mart to grab some last minute cleaners. That was when she ran in to some very drunk and wobbly men. As quick as she could she paid for her stuff and ran out the door. Not making it very far she hears HEY! Well wouldn't you know it mister tipsy was coming toward her. Guess what she left behind in her haste to get back to me. Her Debit card! Yep, right there at the register!
I believe it was about 2:30-3:00 am when I arrived back to my place. I made it to the couch before sleep came upon me. Yep, fully dressed and still wearing my shoes I fell asleep right on my living room couch. Only to be awaken by my dad at about 5:00. I stumbled back to my room and face planted it in bed till 8:00. Hearing my alarm crash through the beautiful quite was horrendous! .....but with a major test in my Fabrics class at 9:00 I had to get up.

Making it through Friday was a major accomplishment. Going to class then driving all the way in to down town phoenix then back to MCC for work. I am surprised I remembered to do it all. Siting down to dinner at Native New Yorker at 6:00 with the family was spent in a mild haze!

But being the most greatest girl yet, I ended back up at Claire's that night to lend a hand unpacking. I ended up spending the night! :) A post for later......

Ahhhh....So sleepy!

So tired today. I wish I could crawl right into my cool bed. Yes, it would be wonderful.
I am almost done with my work day and am getting prepared to go over and help Claire move!
Yeah! Let's get the party started! I am so happy for her and there family! I always stay so busy but will post more over the weekend! Later snoops!

Some people......

Hey......so sorry that i have to busy to write. Yep, I know it has just broken your cold hearts not to know what I have been up to.

The last couple of days have been filled with massive amounts of homework, rushing between my three jobs and trying to squeeze in a few moments of sleep. I do believe that this is going to be the death of me. Whoever said that college was a fun time and just a big party....well lets hang them from there toes!!!!!
One good thing is that I finished my 1st Fabric notebook, yep just in time to start the next 50 page monster!
I have been really enjoying my Color & Design class. We have been painting and mixing our own colors, I feel like
Michelangelo! (only cuter) ....heheheehehhe....

Well we are about to be one month closer to December! I couldn't be happier! Cool weather, gifts and most importantly the end of the school semester!!! I shall try not to jump out of my chair...

oh, I just remembered something funny.....On Saturday Corbin (younger brother) and I were watching funny videos on YouTube when I had a small hiccup. I was not prepared for it so I was laughing when all of a sudden a small eep come out! scared us both! So now when ever I get to excited or happy all I have to do is "eep" and we can't stop laughing! I know I know am such a nerd!

Oh my, do I ever have a case of Bloggers Block!

I need to something fun or silly so I can jot it down for you all to read......but lets not kid ourselves, all I have been doing the last couple of days is Homework! School projects are so time consuming! I believe that in the last couple of days I have spent at least 25 hours doing work! It could almost be considered slave labor. Gosh! I wish I were paid for all the time that I have to poor into my school work. I would at least be rich and smart!! Hehehehehe...only in a perfect world.

Winking, my baby blues at you......why? Well I just got news that I can start my Interior Design fabrics job!!! Whoo,whooo!!!! I am so crazy right now, filled with many happy feelings!!!

So, bloggers have you stayed true to your "New Experience" commitment? If not you are going to be ran over my a mini trash can full of baby powder!!! Hum! If you have, then I know your life has somehow gotten better, and to think that It was my ideas that lead to your happiness makes me even more happy inside!

On Monday I was walking into my house when my mom did something so sweet. Over the weekend I have been working very hard on all of my school projects and in the process ran out of the special Bristol board that I need. So my wonderful mother took it upon her wonderful self and went to Michel's and bought me two, yes two more packets!

Hey, I know I have been MIA the last couple of days but, hey!..... that's life.

Happy Birthday to my MOM! 42 years and still wonderful. I was able to find the perfect watch/bracelet for her. It is really cool it looks just like a bracelet but had a watch face on it. She loved it. Mission accomplished!

Saturday I went shopping with my grams and we went to a store called Hobbie Lobby.....OMG people it was amazing. I can't believe I was able to live not knowing that a piece of heaven was amongst me. It was filled with scrap-booking crafts, great furniture, fabric and any art supply that any person could dream of. I loved it!

Sunday night I was able to wear my new black dress that my grandmother got me. I really like it, it has roses on the top front and goes just below the knee. I paired it with shiny black flats and a indigo blue cardigan, a total A+ look, even if I say so my self.

I was able to do alot of homework this weekend but still had time to do a few fun things. So over all I guess I am ready to take down another week. OH by the way My Birthday is just 5 months away........gosh I will be old. ;) hehhehehehe

almost not moving......

AH, OH, EHH! That was want my family heard when I tried to get out of bed this morning. On Tuesday afternoon I had my first personal trainer workout, I now believe you Rachel, my whole body is on fire. Every leg, arm and all that in between is crying out in pain. So here's to the new thing of the day, Exercise. Gosh, it's so much easier to write it that to do it!

So I am still waiting to hear back from Mesa community College about when I am to start the job. HR has me filling out so many different documents. You would think that I was a high risk hire or something. I am proud to say though that School has been going quite nicely. It's so funny because all three of my classes are in the same class room. Each three out session I stare at the same walls and many of the same people. LOL!

Another Day :)

Oh man what a headache I had last night. I was absolutely in so much pain. I couldn't even focus my eyes! By the time I got home I crashed face first into bed still in my church clothes! I woke up about 3 am and changed into PJ's. So crazy...


Has anyone been following my "New Experience" challenge? I hope so because so far I have had many new and fun things to share about. On Monday I singed up at Pure Fitness and now I am going to work with a personal trainer once a week, what an experience this is going to be! Get ready to laugh because I am going to die!

Attention Bloggers

Hey, Good Monday to everyone. I just want to say that today has been a good day. Nice and simple, just the way I like it.

So over the weekend I experienced many fun things. On Saturday: My brother and I went to Kohl's to shop for a birthday gift for our mom. We ended up with three shirts and a dress for me.
All in all a good shopping trip but on the way home we stopped and had Lunch at Applebees. Later on that night I had to babysit and that went great.
Sunday: woke up a little late, but that is normal, went to church and then crashed in bed slept all afternoon and woke up just in time for evening service! Good timing! I went out with a friend and had a blast!

Rolling my eyes......

Yes people I am rolling my eyes. I got up early, at 6, just to drive all the way down town, to the heart of phoenix, for a doctors apt. I got there an HOUR early, the place opened at 8, so I had to wait outside. Then once they popped the doors opened I went inside only to have the lady at the front tell me that my apt. was not until NEXT Friday.......AHHHHHHH!!!! So on my one day to sleep till 9 I had hauled my red head self all the way there to be rejected! (OK, so it was kinda my fault, but whats the fun in that?)

The rest of my day went lots better. Had a late lunch with my mom, went to sears and now I am about to get ready for Ground Zero, a event at my church. I wonder what movie we are going to see?? Ahh...thoughts...they are what keep me going...(along with espresso) :)

Hey noise blogger's! I bet you want to know what is up with me...well not to much but here it goes!

Thursday morning.....only two days away from a beautiful weekend....a glorious weekend. Well um lets see how much homework, family time, sleep and church can we cram into two days? yeah..lets re-think the glorious part. I just keep wishing that I could open my eyes and it would be Christmas! School would be done and presents for me to open! What could be better? Sigh*

So, today sprung a new one on me.....I parallel parked! Yep! Right in the shining summer sun. You never, ever seen something so great! ....and it only took two tries! Yes, happiness fills my brain. I am so proud of my super cool white Honda that I could scream....wait I just did! Eeep!!!

YES!!!!

Oh I am sooo Happy!! I just found out that I have been chosen to work at Mesa Community College in the Interior Design department as a Materials Librarian!!!!! I have waited for two weeks to hear back!!! I am so excited! The hours fit perfectly into my schedule. This will be my very first Interior Design job!!! Time to celebrate!!

So my Wednesday has been good and then great but overall not bad at all. I am happy and healthy and have many friends and a lovely family. I am complete.....or at least for today.

My new experience for today is getting a great job and dressing up for work. I usually just go casual but not today, I am rocking the gray, white and black to the knee dress with a flower in my curls. To top it all off I am wearing studded platforms and a huge smile! :)

Recovery

Oh my, oh my!! I can't believe I am still alive. A weekend is supposed to be relaxing not crazy. (even though a small bit of crazy is good). Well sit tight cuz here it goes.

Many of you know that It was my "Bright" idea to start the whole New Experience thing so here is my weekend:

Friday: I went to my fabrics class and then had dinner with the family at Native New Yorker where we watched this family of two young girls and there parents tear up there table. They had food all over the wall, table and floor. The poor waitress looked as though she could cry. I just sat there shaking my head when all at once they got up and hurried out of the resturant. Just a moment later the waitress came back and was shocked that they were not there. So as she was looking around my mom said to her that they had just left. So in the end they had Dined and Dashed. I have never before seen this happen but its not just teens that do this its whole familys!

Saturday: Went shopping with my grams and bought a great little black dress!

Sunday: Church was great! I wore my hair up, oh yes up, in two clips with a black head band and my black and white plaid skirt. Rocked it! Then after church packed my car full of teenage girls and went to party at Kimberly's house! Rachel spent the night and we had a blast!

Monday: Oh My Stars!! This is the first time that I have been to Dunking Donuts and received bad iced coffee! No, people, bad burnt tasting coffee!!! Good thing I had Rachel with me so she could see the true horror that flashed across my face! :( You should ask her about her coffee and see what shows on her face!! Then we were off to her house. I love my Friends but I do not believe in turning the other cheek to messy rooms! It is a major sin. So I intervened. I said Rachel I am staying and we are cleaning your bedroom! Three hours later (maybe 4) were were ready to vacuum and make her bed. Then we went to Ross and Marshall's! We got a jewelry stand and two storage boxes and the greatest picture frame!!! Yay us and Yay me!!

Monday:

Bring on the weekend

Yay! Three day weekend! I am so ready to sleep in and be lazy!! But I have tons of fun homework that needs to be done.

I wonder if it is going to rain or stay burning hot? I am so ready for winter. Cool mornings and steamy hot coco! Scarfs and socks! Thanksgiving and Christmas! WOW! I am sold. Bring it on!

I am trying to think what I am going to get my mom for her birthday. The woman has everything, but I will have to start looking around, her b-day is Sept 19. So its coming up,fast!

So, my new experience today was......Lunch with a friend at Oregano's!
Well not my first time at the restaurant but I tried there brand new salad, Mrs. O's special.
It was alright.....A little to smokey for me....yes smokey..the bacon strips were so spicy that my mouth is still numb! It was a salad base with layers of red bell peppers and bacon with a clear vinegar sauce. It received 2 stars out of a possible 5.

and then Day 2

The sky has fallen! Or at least my pride. I thought yesterday was bad, last night was the icing on the cake. So once I finished up with work (around 7) I was on the 101 heading home when traffic went from flying to dead still......took me forever to get to grandmas. I was to pick something special up. As I arrived at G-ma's my stomach started to feel strange. Not sick or hungry but just plain weird. So like millions of other people in America I popped a tums and went on. Grams wanted to go shopping and so I went along. Walking around the store I continued to feel bad. Then worse and brace your self, I flat out fainted on the ground!!!!!! Never in my whole 18 years of life have I hit pavement like that! I can't believe I am alive to tell. So like any grandmother she kept on shopping not seeing that I was no longer with her. Next thing I know I am being touched by a strange girl in bright yellow. She is like, "hey, are you OK??" and "do you need help". No, lady I am just finding my zen zone right here in the middle of a busy store! Yes, Help me up! Then I was standing up and brushing my self off when a wave a sickness smacked me right in the stomach! She had no chance, I shared my lunch right then and there with her. Poor thing took it like a champ. She helped me to the nearest bathroom to clean both of us up when my grandmother finally notices whats going on. I really do have no pride left to spare so please I just want to be normal and live life! Let me walk the rest of my days in peace. I just can't handle any more excitement!

Day One

So today was the first day of new experiences. It went well...OK so laugh at me. I was late to class because I went a different route to school, was sprayed with water because I took my car to get washed and was dropped from my English 102 class because I was "over flow" so.......I guess you could say at least I wasn't bored!!! Now I sit at work with nothing to do and piles of homework waiting for me at home! Sigh*

I am happy to tell I was offered a position working for one of my professors. Her name is sally Kroelinger and she is the Design Department head at Mesa Community College. The job is a Materials Librarian. I would visit the suppliers and order new sample packages then when they come in I would be in charge of displaying and organizing. So cross your fingers and pray real hard that I will get the position. Chat later!!!

Thoughts....

What does Interior Design mean to me? Well.... I hope that I could possibly bring a feeling of comfort and warmth to a persons home or special spot. Creating the possibility for someone to dream. Tearing down the white walls and splashing wonderful color. Re-purposing family heirloom's and adding that desperately needed personal touch! Ahh...just thinking of the smile that could be placed on someones face because I was able to touch one small part in there life. That my friend is what I want to be! That is what I dream to do!

So now I'm in school. At least four years of learning and acquiring new skills! Four years of hard work...mentally and physically.....but most of all emotionally. Balancing church life with family life and mixing in all the school time....no wonder I am crazy! ......but I love it, every second of the madness!!

Good ol' Monday

Whats up readers? I have made up my mind. I will for the next three months try and do something new or different each day. So, it could be a new hair style, route to school or a different word as long as it changes from day to day. I feel that this will be a learning experience! How many of us out there still do the same old same old every day, week or month! It is time for a new more mature Kara to spring forth! As Ashely Smith has said, "Life is full of beauty. Notice it. Notice the bumble bee, the small child, and the smiling faces. Smell the rain, and feel the wind. Live your life to the fullest potential, and fight for your dreams.”

Hey.....Bloggers....what a day. I do believe that I felt each and every emotion today. From high to low, side to side. I might even be admitted if this keeps up. Every decision I have made in my life up to where I am today has been a example of careful thought and prayer, But today is a different story. I find my self in this place where I am rethinking and wondering. Is this bad? Is this good??? Or am I crumbling??? Many souls would say that in life we are always searching and that we can always do better. Do I want to do better? yes. Do I want to change? maybe. I guess what I am trying to type out is that I am in a spot in life where my body, soul and mind are in neutral. Running but not going anywhere. Alive but not feeling. Hungry but not satisfied. OK, OK enough with the metaphors !!!!

Good Morning people!

I have a spring in my step today. Looking foward to my last class of the week, Fabrics! Then I will be off to a meet up with a school friend Peggy! We will go to one of my favorite places, PITA JUNGLE!! So thrilled!!!

Glade that today is friday. I am ready for a few days of no school and work. I wonder what I will do with all my free time? Any thoughts freckles of mine?? Oh I could go shopping! I have a gift card to Kohls. Or I could clean my room. Heheheh......I wonder which one I will pick....Shopping....you know me better than that! Well I must run...not really but class will start in 30 min and I don't want to be late!!

I am back~

So many decisions have to be made at my age and I am only 18 1/2!! Yes the half is important because being a second year college student requires me to be just a little bit older!:)

My English 102 teacher, Mr. Ron Fanning looks like the 80's fitness guy Richard Simmons!!! He walked into class today wearing tan shorts (if you can call them that, the were so tiny that I was forced to look twice!) a pink polo with a thick brown belt. To top off the outfit off he added white tube socks with Keds! You should have seen my face! I wanted to scream! He looked ridiculous!! But it was when he started to talk that I really lost it. His voice was low and soft. Like we were babies and he needed to whisper. By the end of class we were all leaned so far forward that we were numb from the waist down. I dread next week! Two times a week with this chap!!! I will need serious prayer to make it through!!! Oh yeah, its a research class so we all need to spend extra time with him to discuss a topic! Yay!! I am just so thrilled! ;)

Ahhh....Thursdays

Hey All!

Just sitting here, school is done...work is done and I have no idea what to do next! I know that I should be reading the next chapter in my Color and Design book but......:) I think I will cram it in to my already rushed morning! It really is good to be back to school but to tell the truth I really wish it were December and we just finished finals!! Hehehe...skip all the learning and jump right into winter break! Not saying that I dislike summer but the 109 to 112 temp is really getting old!!!
